How about the ceiling? I like that "CAVU," hadn't heard it before. 'Course I'm scared of planes.

The ceiling would the the "Clear" part.

Anything other than CAVU conditions would be reported as ~3000 & 3 (Ceiling 3,000 feet, visibility 3 miles)
