We have a sand point waterwell. It's not deep enough to be safely potable, but we water our yard and garden with it. It has a pretty hefty pump on it...the first time we turned it on, we just had one sprinkler on it...one of those oscillating fan-like sprinklers. It shot the water WAY WAY over our house and was going ninety miles an hour! That's when we learned we had to hook 2-3 sprinklers to it.

Hi, 2JM, how deep does it have to be there? I don't think my well is any deeper than about 29 feet, but we've been drinking out of it for the 12 years we've been living here.
