I know it, but hose and heels are just not sensible. Way to keep women down I tell you... Don't sew any pockets into their pants (so they can't carry any money) and make em wear shoes they can't run fast in ;~D
Do not think that much about attraction between the sexes has to do with 'sensible' things, more a matter of 'Sense' than 'Sensibility' (say that sounds familiar). After this first part of course, character and personality, along with many other things, come into play.
That is only a secondary reason for this, tight dresses also have this double purpose. It all has to do with the appearance of the calf muscles in heels, as I am sure you know, for most guys this is one of the biggest factors in their imaginations.
