I think your juniper bush is the one you make gin out of. Our cedar trees can sometimes be sticky, too. They grow tall, though, are fairly big trees and are the ones you get closet lining from. They make wonderful firewood, too.

Our cat that we had in those days would often get in the Christmas tree, and screw up or break ornaments. He also ate the aluminum icicles, though he couldn't digest them.

The Western Red Cedar is aromatic too... good for closet linings. And the tree needles are soft and not stickery.

I just say "NO!" to juniper bushes now. I have yanked too many of them out and they are too stickery!
