I noticed that even on the regular DVD. I can't see where any of the two Uruk-Hai could have broken it.

Methinks it's just a flub, but knowing the prefectionist that Jackson is, perhaps we're the ones just missing something.

It probably takes someone who has watched it 9 times to notice that 1) the horn is broken and 2) there was no way during the fighting that it could get broken.
