I bet it was "an unusually good tooth." That is such a delightful way to phrase it...sounds like something out of (the A.A. Milne version) of Winnie the Pooh.
Steve was explaining how teams try to entice players to come play for them by giving them something they want...usually more money, but not always. Matthew said
"So one owner could offer a player one and half million dollars to come play, but another owner might offer one million and a cupcake. If the player wanted a cupcake, he'd go with the cupcake offer."
Steve laughed and laughed even just telling me about it last night!
