Got more scoop on the Lott thing. He doesn't like Lame Duck sessions since they do more harm than good (pork, etc). So he just wants to get in and get out and start again in January. Okay... I'll go along.

Yeah, I'm not a huge Lott fan either, but we won't have much choice, do we? I haven't heard any serious talk of replacing him...
