A good rant, and well worth a virtual TV set. If no one else is around here, I guess it is time for us to take up our axes, and use them to remove some Islamist orcish heads.
They had the original engineer on. His office overlooks Ground Zero. He told the camera that everytime he looks out the windows, he sees his towers on fire and the people who are trapped. And he can't get rid of that image. He was so guilt ridden.
I wanted to jump in the t.v. and tell him it wasn't his fault. When he built the towers in 1967, there was no way he could have imagined homocidal bombers turning planes into bombs and crashing into them.
There was a lot of Monday morning quarterbacking going on. Fire protection, bolts, etc. As if these things were to blame and not the terrorists.
Then, toward the end, an engineer came on and said the real testament to the design of the Towers is they remained standing for so long and allowing 12,000 people time to escape.
