Yep...sounds about right. We had multiple laptops end up with bad hard drives, presumably because the casing is too flexible. They work great in one spot, but seem to fall apart if you actually MOVE them, which seems kinda pointless for a laptop, especially one that's supposed to be very lightweight for easier portability.

Their customer service was good, but so is Dell's, and I didn't have to call them as often. ;-)

I was trying to arrange to buy a Dell and was so thoroughly frustrated with their customer service that I told them to "bite me". I bought one of their competitors. But, I have heard nothing but nice things about the actual Dell Computers.
