Well if New Zealand seems hard to arrange, we all at least ought to be able to afford bus fare to Montana. A river runs through it.

I'd like to see New Zealand. But I believe it, along with the entire rest of the world, is politically well to the left of the U.S.A. 'Course the Democrats, and even the Republicans, IMO, are pushing us leftwards with everything they've got.
"Anyone have the location of a modern day Shire?"
I pretty much think that our founding fathers had something like the Shire in mind when they were constructing our country, a land of individual freedom with limited government.
I get the impression that I'm sort of alone in this view, I'm going to post a few sentences on the subject when I get a minute to refine my thoughts down to a few sentences :-)
Maybe I could start a vanity thread on it, and bring down the wrath of half FR onto me.

Anyone up for joining me in purchasing one-way tickets to New Zealand? A-yup. I often talk with the Mrs. about the 3 of us stealing away like theives in the night. I'm sure our Little One would love growing up in such a beautiful land, sorrounded by fields and mountains. My wife would love tending to the horses, and I could be quite content being a simple carpenter. Ahhh...bliss. Ok, enough daydreaming...I've got reports to finish! *grumbles*
