Though, once when my son was little, he pointed out to me that I was driving 15 mph over the speed limit, I remember replying that the signs were just "suggested" speeds.

I would just tell my son, "it just looks that way from where you're sitting..."

My kids always yell at me when I go through a yellow light. They tell me, "Dad! Yellow means slow down!"

I tell them, "No it doesn't, it means 'hurry up! the light's about to turn red!' " ;^)
