Yeah, mine too, but I think she likes it better than when I hang out with the guys from the fishing club.
She may think the Hole is a little weird, but OTOH, I think she likes a little weirdness, since she married me.
Yeah, I wan't to get in a little better shape, I'm almost where I want to be weight wise, but need to get a little harder. I'm not so ambitious that I'm going to live in the gym or anything, just want to do a little better than I am.
When I told my husband about the entmoot or about something funny that I read in the Hobbit Hole that day, he used to say "that's nice" or something to that effect.
Now, he comes right out and says: "You do realize that you are becoming one of those book geeks, don't you?" or "Why do have to talk about these people like you know them or something? You've never met a single one of those people from the internet, they could all be weirdos for all you know!"
Honestly, I've stopped discussing my daily Hobbit adventures with him. I'm sure his own curiousity will get the better of him and sooner or later HE will ask ME what's going on with all of us "book geeks" and "weirdos". :)
I will respond "Nothing that someone as COOL as YOU would care about!"
