Poor thing. All old dogs must die... I have two on their way there, sometimes heading there quicker than other times... What do you mean donate it to science? - She is putting it down right?

I don't know. It's at the vet...has an IV and everything now. It has several genetic disorders that places like Texas A&M and OSU would like to study in the vet science depts.

I know when it gets too bad they'll put it down...but it's had a pretty good life, even though it's blind and incontinent. They put a diaper on it and stick it in a stroller and haul it with them everywhere they go.

Just the last few days, though...it just lays around. Doesn't get up at all. I would pick it up to take it to the bathroom and it would just wake up long enough to go and then it would lick me on the face and lay down and go back to sleep.
