Yes - You are, I think, the same speed up and down. Cable, because it is marketed for home use, has partitioned their bandwidth to give the fastest download and not upload.

My speed just tested here at
1443 kbps download (which falls between "awesome" and "insane" on the scale ;~D) and
125 kbps upload (which is only about twice as fast as a 56K modem).

Test yours there when you are home, and let me know, I am curious about my theory.

I wonder how much that's affected by general internet speed, though. We might have to both do it at the same on the same server for a real comparison. I think the internet runs a bit faster at night, generally, which is when I ran the test...
