Whenever my wife asks, "Was that a roach?" I tell her, "Nope, just a Palmetto bug." Doesn't seem so gross when you call 'em Palmetto Bugs.

(no) thanks for the picture. I have to admit that Charleston has more roaches than Miami, to my surprise.

Yuuuuck! Man, am I ever glad I'm back up north where we don't have such things...

Hadn't seen roaches until boot camp, actually! Then they sent me to Mississippi, where they grow several inches long, and FLY! Ugh, ugh, ugh.

After the roach comment you made my stomach was queezy. Then came the bologna and eggs stories and I felt faint.

Now, that lovely photo where the roach can practically jump on that kid's face. My palms are sweating. No more!!! PLEASE!!!!
