Yes, I'm still on the map search, but I think it's over. The redrawn maps are superbly done by this Mr. Stephen Raw, much clearer with what looks like a few added "fine details", like labels of where things are, but none of that overwhelming slop that Shapiro person put into the Ballantine/DelRay books.
[breathe....breathe...]Someone posted an excellent map link on here a while back...maybe in the original hobbit hole, and I would like it again. What was the link for it? I didn't see it on the egroup bookmark list, but I just glanced at it quickly.
Look at the map links at any of the chapter posts in the Green Dragon... from Annals of Arda. They are pretty. I found another good one too, but the link is at home... (hair is at the office now)
