Didn't Gandalf have that ring after Gil-Galad died??

Hm...you know, I think this may be right. The movie showed the ringbearers at the beginning - didn't it show Galadriel, Elrond, and Gil-Galad? I know Gandalf ends up with one of the elven rings, and what other would it be?

I'm pretty sure they were Cirdan (old guy with long white hair), Gil-Galad (younger guy with a circlet on his forehead) and Galadriel. Which was true to the books! :)
