Question: I don't technically own a horse, but since I do have a Whippet, does that make me a "horsewoman" - or can't one say "horse woman" any more? Is the pc version "equine-centered personage" acceptable?

Well, I don't use horse-woman myself, and when I think of the word, I see Julie Roberts. Hmm... You know... as PC as it sounds... I actually use horse-person, as in... He's OK, he's a horse-person. Never gave it any thought! - The indoctrination is subtle, isn't it?
