I was under the impression that money was there after undergrad work....no telling how much she'll be spending post grad.
Also....employers as a rule don't like hiring Phd's for jobs that require only an Associate or BS.
I think this is one thing people being laid off right now are learning...the dreaded "overqualified" rule.
I'm kinda glad I wasn't around last night...I have some pretty strong feelings on education and degrees and though I think Jen probably has the right reasons, a lot of people waste MUCHO time and money on degrees they don't need and that are NOT a job help.
There are other ways to learn things! And if it isn't going to help you in life, why pay so much for that piece of paper / sheepskin / whatever they make them diplomas out of these days?
