And the next photo shows very decent form. Shooting off the knuckle, mediterranean release, anchored at the corner of the mouth, a bit of cant to the bow, elbow horizontal. Very well done. Instinctive archery. yessss. btw I'm still out here, faithful reader, occasional poster, mediocre arrow tosser.

I think someday I'd like to take up archery, for deer hunting, though I'm not convinced I'll have time in this life, as I suppose it's a real skill. I enjoy your comments on it.

Instinctive archery. yessss.

I have a real appreciation for instictive shooting, archery and firearm...before I ever touched a gun, I was a damn good instictive archer...(cheap composite and wood recurves, sorry)...when I first picked up a firearm, it came very naturally...IMO, most people fall in love with fancy sights and gadgets...when I shoot a handgun, I don't aim, I point, the pistol an extension of my arm...I hit...In a gunfight, if you have to sight in, your wrong...I'm alive because of instictive shooting...

I've sold out, and use compounds now... when I get the time after I retire, I think I'll go back to recurves and longbows...
