Can't wait until I see your January weather reports. It will remind me why virtually all of my family moved out of Minnesota, now living in places like Florida, Texas, and California. What part of the Great White North do you live in, my family came from Ely, about 100 miles north of Duluth.

I'm in the suburban Twin Cities (work in Eden Prairie, live in Edina) at just about exactly 45 degrees latitude on this old globe.... Further north even than Rosie....

Never been to Ely, yet. We always go up to the Grand Marais area once a summer and Bemidji area once a summer. Alas, those trips are fading memories right now. Next year we (the boys of the extended family), are planning a BWCA trip jumping off through Ely. Can't wait....
