Thanks for the articles! Eowyn's character has always appealed to me, mostly because of the "issues" her character has. There is not only the unrequited love aspect, but the fact that she is being forced by society into a role she does not want, and feels left out, and a bit angry I think. There are things she wants and is denied, and feels powerless and resentfull.
