She just got it this weekend, didn't she? Speaking of names, though, that's one thing I'm not sure tin whistles usually get. A lot of our other instruments have names, though...my sister's violin is Ole Bull (that's stamped in the back - he was a famous Norwegian violinist), my guitar is Darcy (easy to guess who HE'S named after), and my Mom's cello is (or was, anyway) Ettore, after Ettore Bastianini, a baritone she loved.
My fiddle has yet to show it's name, so it' remains just "my fiddle".
LOL! Actually, the violin maker came out here to deliver two violins but since she comissioned hers first, she got to choose. They looked pretty much the same except that one had a "squirrelly" dip in the grain in the top part so she called it Squirrelly.
