I think viggo is thoughtful and deep. I think he is kindof a weird poet woodsman artist type. I heard he slept outdoors through the shoots already in costume so that he really would look like he was sleeping in his clothes for months. He really becomes the character, and stays in character all the time. Cool, and a tad wacked!

Sometimes when I'm watching movies, I try to think of what character from my favorite books a particular actor could play... while I was watching Viggo's interviews on the DVD, I decided he would make a great "Benedict" from the Nine Princes in Amber series. Jen will know what I'm referring to... but for those who haven't read the series, Benedict was the weapons master of Amber. He spent literally thousands of years of his immortal life training with all types of weapons, viewing battles and (because of the special talent of all Amberites) watching them over and over again with small details changed, until he was a complete master of all tactics and strategy.

When Corwin (the main character of the series) meets up with Benedict, Benedict has lost his right arm in a battle. When Corwin is forced to fight him in a swordfight, he finds out that Benedict is still the greatest swordsman he's ever fought... even without his right arm.

I think Viggo would be great as Benedict.
