LOL! He's very proud that he quit. It's part of his testimony. I was the one that suggested he quit, and that if he didn't, that was ok...but I wasn't bringing a third person into the situation. He quit immediately and has never touched the stuff since.

Here's a funny little story:

In our family (not saying this is how it should be in every family) Steve and I are very firm already with alcohol consumption. Steve's entire family are alcoholics, either active or "recovering". So, we already tell the boys "We do not drink alcohol." We say this repeatedly, so if they grow up and drink alcohol and become alcoholics or wrap themselves around trees like BOTH of Steve's brothers, well, it's not because we didn't tell them not to drink alcohol!

Here's the funny part. The other day, I had a wound on my hand and was cleaning it with...you guessed it...alcohol! Joshua came in and said "What is that?" and I unthinkingly said "Alcohol". He said "We do not drink alcohol." I laughed but then thought...well, we don't drink this alcohol either and agreed with him!
