Do you guys think we'll really pull off this entmoot thing? I thought the idea was kind of scary at first, but now it seems kind of exciting. I agree w/ Bear, though, that it could be hard to find a date that everyone can make.

I suppose our personalities might be different in person than on the net. Though perhaps what we write gives a good indication of who we are. It would be fun for us all to meet in RL.

I vote for: somewhere in FL, DC, the MidWest, in that order. I thought NYC was OK, but there seem to be some strong objections. I dislike the Oscars pretty much, but if TORN or something similar is a real freak show, my wife's sense of humor might be entertained :-)

I think it might just happen, big deal or small! - and I think anyone ought to be able to set aside a date this far in advance, don't you? Would be fun! We shall see how it plays out!

Maybe. After a day like today when we're literally all over the map, I'm not really sure.

Part of me is leary about real life contact with anyone I meet over the Internet. But I think FR gives us more opportunity to "know" each other.

If we're all still chatting in two years and we don't get together, that'd be a real shame.
