I have a mouthful of fillings. My problem is I hate to floss. I brush frequently, and only floss after I eat popcorn or steak or something. Otherwise, I tend to blow it off.
One time I went to the dentist and he numbed me up good. Afterwards, I went to Albertsons and bought some of their warm baked bread (they put it out hot at 4pm) and started snacking on it on the way home. I put a rather large piece in my mouth and it disappeared! I looked all over the floor and everything, thinking I'd dropped it. Then I gave up and stuffed another large piece in, only to find my entire mouth completely crammed with bread! LOL I was so numb I couldn't feel the first piece.

HAHAHA! The same thing happened to me when I had my wisdom teeth out... I was so hungry because I couldn't eat in the morning before the surgery, but I couldn't feel my face or even my throat... I had pancakes, but I couldn't tell if I had swallowed it or not without checking in a mirror. It was gross.
I never floss either, except for steak or something. I bet dental hygenists are the most frustrated souls in the world. They try to get folk to floss, and no one listens to them. Poor dears.
But I just had good strong teeth I guess... We did grow up on floridated water, maybe it's the one good gene I have, who knows!

"Apparently, I got my sense of humor (and much of my physical appearance) from my paternal grandmother "
Then she must have been a very attractive (though not without opinions) lady.
