I gotta get off-line for a while...a thunderstorm is rolling through.

Ooo, do you get rain with those? I've heard of rain...

Well, I'm back and avoiding working again. Was going to take the little one to the pool, but I forgot the swim team banquet is tonite. Pool is closed.

And, I just bathed the fish, only to find that "Strider" is no more. Didn't notice him because he sank to the bottom instead of floating to the top. He was kinda scrawny anyway. Gandalf (the white) and Legolas (the gold) have grown since they replaced the hobbit-fish a few weeks ago. But strider (black and grey) didn't grow...

Shame to hear about Strider's demise... I am sure he was a good fish.

I am starting the process of getting going.... finally bathe and get cleaned up for dinner and visiting. Been sitting around all flippin day!

Storm's over! A nice drencher! We've had a relatively wet summer, and our grass and trees look lovely! Just as everything starts to dry out, along comes another rainstorm! It's amazing, because usually we are suffering with grassfires this time of year.

We had a 65 degree morning yesterday. Just astounding for August in Oklahoma! It is nothing for it to be in the mid 90s in the middle of the night.
