I took another, longer look, and you and Hair are right I think... but I still think Frodo looks more angry than afraid, though! I'll have to go re-read the part where he meets Faramir, to be reminded of Frodo's reactions there.

In the book, Sam gets testy and says something along the lines of "If you think my master killed Boromir, you got no sense." It's when he's giving Faramir "sauce". (going from memory here...books are in the other room). I wonder if they just let Frodo get mad in this scene to show how sweet docile Frodo is changing? They show a bit of it in the preview, when he draws that sword...
