Afternoon all. Here briefly. Have to go deal with neighborhood pool stuff. Grumble, grumble. A man called this afternoon after renting the pool for a private party. Said the guards on duty had their own friends there and weren't guarding his guests...

Oh my. That can be a terrible thing when you have teenagers that don't take their job seriously. A lady at my church dived into the pool where a guy I went to school with was the lifeguard. Some of the swimmers hauled her out and she was gurgling water. The guy didn't do anything. Wouldn't touch her. She died. I baby-sat her 5 year old daughter while her husband made her arrangments at the funeral home.
