We have gotten all our rain this year... water is not hard to come by here in Western Washington. I am on a well, so my water is my own. I think some of the city water systems have to put limits on water sometimes to keep up, but I don't think they are doing that this year.
Last summer was indeed a drought for the region. The same water restrictions that caused the Klammath Basin crisis existed here too... Washington handled it better than Oregon, but there still was no Eastern Washington hay, because they were paid not to irrigate. This year I will be able to get good hay.... Which reminds me. I better get on it.

I am on a well, so my water is my own. People here are concerned about wells drying up. That's what concerns me. I'm not worried about being told I can't water my weeds or wash my car. I'm concerned thought about people who aren't on a municipal system to get water...
