That's what I've heard. Both of the attacks near us last year (Virginia Beach and Outer Banks) happened at about 6 p.m. (of course where we go is right at the mid-point between those two spots) Supposedly that's when they're feeding and more active.

I think ultimately, it's common sense. The sharks have always been there and we just need to pay attention. While we hear the horror stories, the odds really are in our favor if we're not stupid.
