It's been a few months since I''ve seen FOTR, but I don't think the near tower resembles Orthanc (from the movie)at all. It's a dead ringer for the Orthanc painting ksen posted earlier

I think you and Corin need to carpool the 160 miles to OT(?)'s dollar theatre to see the movie again. I believe Alan Lee, the guy who painted the pic I posted earlier was involved in making FoTR the movie.

Penny, could you post pics of Orthanc and Barad-Dur for us to compare? Thanks in advance.
