I used to work for Eastern Mountain Sports, and spent time at their HQ in P'boro.

I went to high school right across the street from there, at ConVal Regional High School. Wow, is it a small world or what? Is this like that 6 degrees of seperation stuff?

Hmm, have either of you appeared in a movie with Kevin Bacon?

My dad had a Bacon factor of "3."

Oh, who did he know and who did that person know who knew Kevin Bacon?

I have no Bacon factor that I'm aware of.

I had bacon for second breakfast yesterday, though... it was very good.

mmmmmm, bacon.....

My favorite new quote for the week: "I got the four basic food groups. Beans, bacon, whiskey, and lard." From the Disney movie Atlantis, which was actually much better than I expected - which isn't saying much!

Must be. Some days I wonder if I'm actually seeing people every day that have some kind of connection with my life that I'm not aware of. My wife and I lived in the same town, frequented the same bars, for 3 years and never met. Then after we both moved we met by freak accident at a party in a town she'd never visited before, and would likely never visit again. What an odd world we live in!

now that I'm here and can visit a little bit, everyone else is going back to work... (pout)

Sorry about that but it was quitting time. Not even sneaking for the Precious will delay quitting time!

For some reason I'm reminded of the Slim Pickens quote from Dr. Strangelove... "A guy could have himself a pretty good time in Vegas with this stuff."

Quoted from my faulty memory, so please excuse any mistakes! :)
