Yeah, those kinds of dreams are great fun, particularly the ones that have the handsome guys helping you escape... oh wait, we weren't talking about those dreams, were we, just - never mind!

"spent actual brain cycles figuring out possible escape routes?"
I think people that live in isolated areas or who are at sea generally consider that they must be prepared to take care of themselves as help may be slow to arrive. Probably city folks ought to start thinking this way also.

Not many dear (I've not seen any), but lots of squirrels.
To: Corin Stormhands
I've got a lot of those bushy-tailed tree rats! They clean out both of our pecan trees before the pecans are anywhere near ripe. They used to get our corn before we adopted that stray cat and they dig in all my pots! Still...it's a lot of fun popping them with the BB gun.
To: Corin Stormhands
Not many dear Um, make that deer, lest I be accuse of flirting...
To: JenB
Mmmm, yes, but those dreams are very fun indeed...too bad Hair isn't here, something tells me she'd enjoy this conversation about dreams. ;)

"I've got a lot of those bushy-tailed tree rats"
Are those good eating?
To: Corin Stormhands
You cad! ;)
To: Sam Cree
Yes, so I'm told. They're too much trouble to skin and it's easier getting plastic-wrapped food at the store so I've never actually had any.

"Are you talking to me?"

One fell out of a tree one day and knocked himself silly, right in front of my labrador. My lab was so shocked she froze for a minute. The squirrel suddenly recovered and ran away.
To: Sam Cree
I love my lab. But he wouldn't know what to do with a squirrel.
He has enough trouble with the cat...she's declawed and she can still take him...

Wife calls me crotchity, can't imagine why. ;^>

I have to drive home now. Stay away from the precious.
To: Corin Stormhands
My lab lived to 14 before she passed on. But she was really a ferocious dog, people were scared of her. She still had that lab sweetness, though, where appropriate.
To: Sam Cree
Our lab is a big baby. But he's great with the two-year-old. We don't leave them alone because we know animals can turn. But he's very tolerant.
To: Bear_in_RoseBear
Hehehe...like the pic. During nut season I like to harrass them with the BB gun. They give a satisfying yelp, leap in the air, drop the nut, and scold you while flicking their tails! It's really fun if you can knock them out of the tree...they hit the ground with a nice thud.
To: Corin Stormhands
Stay away from the precious. Oh?....Are we within sneaking range? :)

Now I understand the squirrel with the tinfoil hat...I think. <:-)
