Yes, plug it in and put it in a bucket of water. Shuffle around on carpet, brush your hair vigously, and make sure not to touch anything metal before you pick up your computer. The static electricity should power it up.

Hold it up to the screen so the computer can "read" it. Make sure the shiny side is facing the computer! Hold it there for at least seven minutes so that the computer can read the whole song.
