Rosie, does one of your Brad Paisley CDs have the song "I'm Sure Gonna Miss Her" on it. I think that is the name. He starts off singing about his wife threatening to leave him if he goes fishing again. Then he talks about the fish biting, and says "I'm sure gonna miss her"?

Heh, heh, that's ok Sam.

I haven't read any of George R. R. Martin's books, but I do enjoy the shared-world series he edits (and writes for), called "Wildcards". More science-fictional than fantasy, though.

For me, 1948.

1953 for me. I think, Sam, that you and I may be the oldest in this crowd. That's pretty damn depressing, don't you think? LOL!

Thanks!

By the way, where'd all the new keywords come from?

Dwarf Diapers? Dwarf Deoderant? Velveeeeeta? LOL!! No matter how often I visit, there's always something new and funny in the Hole.

Did you hear about the little plane that flew into a building in Miami? - It's in breaking news.

I like the Dixie Chicks' latest CD, but haven't purchased it yet.

Sir SuziQ came home from the grocery store one night with their new CD for me. It is called "Home" and it is VERY good! Of course, I haven't had it in my CD player since that first night. First our daughter absconded with it, then he took it up to HIS office in the attic. He's gonna just have to burn a copy for me!

No, I'm online and Cartoon Network is on.

I'm signing off and checking it out. See everyone in the morning! Bye bye!

Part of the fun is trying to think back over the discussion to try to figure out what might have inspired the keywords...!

I don't know who entered them, though... 'tweren't me!

"Did you hear about the little plane that flew into a building in Miami?"

Yeah, cause it's posted on FR. But that address is near the end of one of the runways at MIA, so for the moment I am not necessarily thinking terrorism.

I will agree with you on that one! I especially like the song "Travelin' Soldier".

But it seems wrong that one of the only decent and honorable people in the entire world got killed before the action even started.

I think Martin is too Machiavellian to allow that. Ned should have stayed in the North. He refused to conspire with Renly when it was the wise thing to do.
