so how many of us are under, say 25, anyway? Not me! So far as I know, you're the only one under 25 here... are there any others?

Good night everyone. I'm going to bed. It's only 8:15pm but the boys got me up so early and I'm very tired.

Good night 2J!

Good night, 2J! Sleep well!

Yes, Brad Paisley is pretty good, one of the best artists coming out of Nashville in recent years. He's the one who had a hit with "I'm Gonna Miss Her (The Fishing Song)".
Heh, now I feel like I want to make a bunch of recommendations! But I'll hold back, for now. ;)

I may already know of a lot of the folks you'd recommend. ;-) Try me!

It seems like a lot of us were born in the late 50's to mid 60's... 1964 for myself.
To: Bear_in_RoseBear
Well, our centennial people are pretty close to 25! But I'm not the only one... surely?

My brother used to lurk (jrherreid), but I don't think he's had time lately - he's 24.

Hmmm.... so how many of us are under, say 25, anyway? I'm 21.

It's very different sounding, isn't it? They used a Norwegian fiddle. (I think)
To: John Farson
Really? That makes you second youngest, I suppose.

A hardanger fiddle? Hm...I'll have to give it another listen...you may be right. They definitely have that droney sound!

Hullo! - I went out for red meat off the bone with a friend! - Had a few pints too!
Top of the evening to everyone!

"1964 for myself."
For me, 1948.

Goodness, uhm, off the top of my head...
The Dixie Chicks most recent CD, "Home". "Fly" was good too; we haven't heard the CD "Wide Open Spaces", but the title track was good.
Pat Green, "Three Days". His best stuff is live, but the studio versions aren't bad either.
If you like Texas swing, perhaps a new artist named Ricky Calmbach. His newest CD is "Texas Standard Time"; I haven't heard the whole album yet, but the title track is very entertaining.
Uhm, uhm, Tim McGraw, "Everywhere". Very thoughtful songs!
That's all I can think of right now... I'll have to think about it more deeply!

That was a good year, too...that's the year my Mom was born.
To: JenB
If we are going by mental age, I'm probably much younger. :-P
