I just made myself a bowl of popcorn (and the boys too). They are watching Willy Wonka and I am enjoying being on the computer during Steve's last day of school!

I had a leg and thigh from the chicken I cooked yesterday and 2 bites of Matthew's leftover hotdog and 3 bites of Joshua's leftover grilled cheese.
I'm like one of those fish you put in a tank just to clean up.

Have you learned the new hobbity stuff in the Extended FoTR? I noticed some new whistle parts... No. I haven't learned all the Springle Ring thing yet. Those fast numbers are hard for me to pick up by ear.

I've got the biscuit and cornbread made for the dressing. My cake layers are cooked. I still have the Jello salad to do but it doesn't take long and I've written 1205 words so far today. Raiders of the Lost Ark comes on AMC in about 15 minutes.

Oh that's a good show! The boys love it.
I think Steve intends to make an apple pie tomorrow...Mom's making a pecan pie and the "Packaged Turkey Deal" she bought at the grocery store comes with a pumpkin pie (mine and Matthew's favorite.)
You have got to get one of those rotisseries, my friend. It is fantastic.

LOL Just this morning someone was trying to sell me on a crock pot! Can those rotisseries double as a toaster oven?

Those fast numbers are hard for me to pick up by ear. Perhaps if you wrote to Mr. Shore, he would send you the sheet music!

LOL, I don't think so...the burners are against the back wall.
This is better than a crock pot. I cooked a five pound chicken for 1.5 hours yesterday and the meat was just falling off the bone. It was done sooner, but I like my chicken really cooked. It was crispy on the outside and golden brown when it finished.
Here is a picture of mine right after I put the chicken in. It was kinda floppy on the spits and it worried me...but then as it cooked, it "cinched up" on the spits really tight.

Nope... wrong company... no Orange Clean either. Just the rotisserie thing or the food dehydrator.

I just love this thing! I have been begging Steve for one for a long time. Used to sit watching the infommercials just transfixed! I couldn't believe it when my mom got it for me...not the small one, either! The medium one!
I love little appliances. I told Steve, oh...10 years ago at least, that I wanted a kitchen that had a row of electrical outlets all around the cabinets. We got this house 3 years ago and I found that there were outlets every 2 feet or so in the kitchen, in the back of the counter!
