Ooh ooh ooh! I know the answer to the riddle!
Oh...and the pictures are nice, too. Methinks ecurbh may have a new desktop picture by the end of the day. ;-) Though I suppose Uncle Theoden might have to be edited out...
Very nice!
To: RosieCotton; ecurbh
LOL! - I should have edited him out as a present for ecurbh... He can add another babe to his "Babes of LoTR" desktop!
I saw the riddle at the bottom but I didn't try to read it.... BRB.

What is the answer to the riddle?
To: Corin Stormhands; HairOfTheDog
Wasn't ksen planning on going "up North" for Thanksgiving? Did he call the trip off?
To: Overtaxed; HairOfTheDog
Wasn't ksen planning on going "up North" for Thanksgiving? Yeah, I think you're right. But it seems like he would've said "goodbye."
To: Corin Stormhands
But it seems like he would've said "goodbye." I guess Men of Gondor are like that. :)
To: Overtaxed
Not much for skivvies or long goodbyes?
To: HairOfTheDog
What is the answer to the riddle?Assuming the question IS LOTR related - the answer is Sam!
To: RosieCotton
13 children? I only know of one!
To: Overtaxed
Gotten in any crap production at work? I haven't started yet. I bad.
Once I get moving, I can usually write quite a bit in a day, but starting a new section isn't something I'm very good at doing, and I'm stalling...
To: HairOfTheDog
13 children? I only know of one! Look at the family tree charts in the appendices.
To: RosieCotton
I was doing just that!
Elanor
Frodo
Rose
Merry
Pippin
Goldilocks
Hamfast
Daisy
Primrose
Bilbo
Ruby
Robin
Tolman
Funny....
To: Overtaxed
That sounds really good, OT, especially the coconut cake.
Thanksgiving is often my favorite holiday.
To: RosieCotton
Gotten in any crap production at work? I got in about 520 words at work and since I stayed late yesterday, I came home early today. (I'm at 867 for the day so far.) I'll have more time at work tomorrow. I want to get in at least 2000 words today. I'm trying the keep the fingers moving approach and the story has certainly turned darker for my stalwart band of heroes. Maybe I shouldn't do this listening to TTT soundtrack LOL!
I'm shooting for 1000 words before 6:00.
To: Overtaxed
I've been very mean to my characters lately. Hmm...maybe it IS TTT influence? I have two locked up right now, and a third just lost his best friend. Only one is having a fairly decent time of it.
To: Sam Cree
especially the coconut cake. And get this. One sister wants me to try chocolate layers instead of yellow layers. So I thought I'd do one chocolate and one yellow, split the layers and alternate yellow and chocolate. Of course, you know what I'm going to hear: "that's not the way Grandmother did it!"
I'm just griping because I have to schedule cooking around the NaNoWriMo thing (I'm close, and there's no way I'm going to miss the 50,000 word deadline!)
To: Overtaxed
""that's not the way Grandmother did it!" Sounds better.
To: RosieCotton
Okay. I hit 1152 with 10 minutes to spare. That TTT soundtrack is definitely influencing this. One of my characters just pulled a Galadriel.
To: Overtaxed
Halloweening?
I'm trying to get one character up to speed so he isn't totally in the dark when things really start happening next chapter. However, the guy who's supposed to be enlightening my character is being a jerk.
To: RosieCotton
Halloweening big time. She's freaking out her allies.
1251 so far. Time for dinner.
