I must be off.
Hubby is going to the Hurricanes game tonight so I will be running things solo with the kiddies.
You guys take care and I'll see you in the morning! Bye!
To: ksen
Sounds good to me. More importantly though is venue. Do we have that down yet? What do you need me to bring?
I'll be back tomorrow with my response.

Fabulous articles, JR! Enjoying them immensely. Still working my way through the Dwarves one.... Keep 'em coming...

I couldn't get into FR for over an hour and then I had an hour and a half meeting....
Thanks for the wishes on the day. Those of us who are "of a certain age" can appreciate the very special feelings associated with birthdays, can we not? They aren't what they used to be, but thats OK...they're even better somehow...
And I am so relieved to know you are older than me.....8^) I'm not the oldest one in the Hole! I'm not the oldest one in the Hole! I'm not the oldest one in the Hole!

These are some of Matthew's favorite characters...

Good evening everyone!
I have been finally adding up my expense reports for my office since July! - LOL! - I am not very good about getting my reimbursables done - I guess until Christmas is coming and I need the money! That changes things!

Separated at birth...

Dexter Jettster, from AotC and Arafat
To: Paul Atreides
Heh... your Arafat picture failed... but I get the similarity!
Hey - is it true that you are the one who caused FR to crash today? ;~D
To: HairOfTheDog
Who me?! ;-) I just sent created and sent the photo, but Rush is the one who mentioned it. LOL.
BTW, on Ain't It Cool news, there is supposed to be a photo of Shelob's lair, but I cannot get it to come up. I was going to post it here. Has it been posted already?

I remember the big to-do early in 2001 when Limbaugh made fun of the "average Freeper." I wonder why he stops by! ;' )

To: Paul Atreides
Yeah - John Farson posted it here yesterday....
Found it!
A pic in Shelob's Lair -- LORD OF THE RINGS!
Hey folks, Harry here... Now, we've been told that we don't see Shelob in TWO TOWERS, but this pic seems to indicate that we might get really really close, if this is from TWO TOWERS. Obviously what we're looking at here is the interior of Shelob's Lair as Sam and Frodo approach with the Light of Earendil to illuminate the darkness of that terrible inky black place. Now, one of the key things that we've all been curious about is where does THE TWO TOWERS end? I don't know, truthfully, I don't know what beat it finishes on, and frankly I don't want to know. But since we're all fanboys and girls sitting around the cold flame of our computers sharing feces and thoughts... I'm gonna float the theory that we get to Shelob's lair in TWO TOWERS - that we hear Shelob - that it ends in the all time meanest cliffhanger of all time. I mean, can you imagine if that's where he leaves us? Meanwhile, the track title... Samwise the Brave... it disturbs me, the music is great, but Samwise the Brave... isn't that a RETURN OF THE KING moment? Again... confused, titillated and thrilled. Can't wait to see how this plays out, but I must. Here ya go.... Thanks goes out to The Rabid Turkey!
To: Rocko
Limbaugh.... How are you doing tonight Rocko? ;~D

Jeepers! Harry's huge screaming fonts hurt my eyes....
Sorry guys... I did a copy source from AintItCoolNews to capture the flavor of the report! I think Harry should be an exception to that rule!

One of the expectations is that the Deacons will not attend movies at the theatre. I admire your integrity for abiding by that. But, had they not shown it to you before? And if not, why not?
That said, I think it's a silly rule. But I'm not the leadership of your church.
My wife's neice and her husband are in the ministry in their denomination. A number of years ago, they wouldn't go to the theater to see a movie, but had no problem renting one from Blockbuster. Their explanation was probably more hypocritical than the actual belief of their denomination. They said they couldn't be seen going into a mulitplex theater because people wouldn't really know what they were going to see. My thought was that the little plastic bag from Blockbuster could cover up a lot more.
I grew up in the Holiness movement, went to a Holiness college and attend a Holiness church now. For the most part, I think the outward rules are a misguided attempt to be "spiritual" while allowing one to ignore the matters of the heart, which are of utmost importance.
Still, rules don't bother me, as long as they are consistent.
Having said all that, we may not make it to see TTT much before then either, but we'll sure try.
