Well I am glad! - Though I don't have your constitution for waiting even that long!
To: Rocko
You are right! I had forgotten it... and now you've reminded me of it... (sigh!)
To: Bear_in_RoseBear
Who could forget Jar Jar Baggins?
To: HairOfTheDog
We must be strong! We decided to order from Amazon so we could get the bookends... didn't know where we would be able to find a good deal on them, and didn't have the time to go shopping. Probably should have ordered last week so that it would arrive today, but my employer wouldn't pay me ahead of schedule, the cheapskates!

Whew...those might be just a touch too hot for me. But I like the idea.

Got a notice that Amazon shipped today, so I can't cancel the oorder... 5-8 days for shipping via USPS...
'scuse me while I go break somethin'...
To: g'nad
I bet it doesn't take that long! Most mail takes no more than 3 days cross country....

5-8 days for shipping via USPS...Actually, in my experience, that's about right for Parcel Post shipment, which is probably how they sent it. But, it will depend most on the distance from their warehouse to your location.
I think ours is coming either via FedEx or UPS, which means we'll have to leave a note on the door so they leave the package on the doorstep Thursday...

I think I am going to bed, though the DVD will be playing!
The actor's commentary jabbering is starting to just irritate me. I think the director's commentary is a bit better, but I also think I am just too tired... Anyway, I am gonna go hit the couch and play it pure, and perhaps just drift off to sleep!

Well, I got muh LOTR: Special Edition and love it! I also bought Attack of The Clones. So, now I have LOTR, Dune: Director's Cut Miniseries, and two Star Wars movies! BTW, FR-mail me the scene of which you speak.

Bear, what was it you recommended for a flat screen monitor? I can't find where I put your and Rosie's posts on that :-/
My wife is thinking she might like one.

Woo-Hoo! 10,071 words of crap!
Good Night, all!
To: Sam Cree
Hi Sam!
If you mean a flat-panel LCD monitor, check out these pages. If you mean a flat-screen regular glass monitor, check out these pages. Each link has about 5 pages of monitors listed, so you might have to page through them a bit to find the best deals.
For a regular glass monitor, 17" or larger, 1024x768 resolution or higher, .25 mm dot pitch or lower, is good!

Thanks, Bear ;-)
To: Sam Cree
You're welcome!
And I'm off to bed, good night all!

where the words are the same, but they used a different "takeI noticed that too, Hair. It did look like they used different takes than what were in the original film.
We watched it this evening, and found the Cast Commentary, so we started watching Disc 2 AGAIN with that. We got to hear Sean Bean talking about his fear of helicopters. I LIKE his accent!
To: 2Jedismom
I love Pippin's little solo part in the Green Dragon! That is such a cute scene. And I love it when they're leaving; Sam looks back and make a comment about some guy flirting with Rosie. Frodo tells him not to worry because she can recognize an idiot. Sam gets the most concerned look on his face!! It is so cute!

Wood Elves!Isn't the music there just the most beautiful thing you've ever heard?!
