We have to turn in a self portrait every week, so about a month ago, I handed her one showing me winking, holding a shotgun, with thumb up, and wearing a T-shirt that says "I'M THE NRA." Ooh...bad Sam! Bad, bad Sam! Too funny...though I suppose it's a good thing she was a good sport about it!

My brother lives in San Francisco, AKA Liberal City, USA. He doesn't even OWN any guns, but he joined the NRA anyway (I don't know how you go about doing that - I assume you just sign up and pay dues of some sort?), so he has an NRA hat and NRA stickers on his mandolin case, among other things, which he flashes as much as possible...just to p1ss people off, I think. He's nuts, but it is kinda funny!

Hi Rosie, I admit to having been pretty worried about her reaction, since I value her as a professor, and person too.
Well, temperatures were down in the 60's again last night. When I stepped outside I smelled wood smoke, as Miamians were lighting fires in their fireplaces, in an effort to stay warm. I think the high may only reach the low 80's this afternoon.
Love this fall weather.
Actually, I do miss the "real" fall.

Pick up the Special Edition, unless you are really wedded to a pure copy of the theatrical version. I saw the widescreen edition in the store last week, and held off buying it because I can't stand the reduced picture size and the two black strips. Now, if I had a jumbo screen TV that might be different.
By Special Edition, do you mean the "Platinum Series Extended Edition"? (There's also a "Platinum Series Extended Edition Collector's Gift Set" ;o). I see Amazon has it for $29.99.
