So, hopefully, you will be able to find something in N.C. when they move to Kansas?
To: JenB
I am about to start the work of the day.
Laundry and housework first, I guess... too cold outside to do anything there yet.

I expect so. There's quite a few lab type businesses around here. I expect that the pharmaceutical branch of the company will be moving into these facilities (although we don't know for sure.)
Last time I went job hunting during the fourth quarter it seemed like everyone was putting off hiring until the new year. I was thinking about circulating my resume after New Year's (Seamus, please advise if this is the wrong thing to do.) My current project should finish in May, I'm told they'll have work for me until June, and they're planning on moving in July.

I've just about got my house completely cleaned. The boys room is a disaster, but I'm going to let Steve handle that.
I'm on call to work, if they need any help.

I am thinking seriously of moving the furniture again. I still don't like it this way because I can't see the front gate when I am sitting here, and I can't see the TV very well still without turning around.
I am not set up well for chat views or live events any more. I think I want to put it back the way it was!

I'm hoping my mom will get me a little TV with attached DVD player for Christmas, you know, like for the van? But then when it's not in the van, I could put it in here, the computer room, and watch the DVD at the same time.
To: HairOfTheDog
Yikes! I got the 666!

It's good to be able to see the front gate.
Hair, it's 81 here and sunny, will reach mid 80's this afternoon, mid 70's tonight.
To: Sam Cree
It's good to be able to see the front gate. Yes it is.... Someone should always be watching the gate. Some cloaked ranger might appear there and I want to make sure I have time to put on mascara!

"Don't be afraid to let the book follow a different path than what is in your outline."
I like that, Corin. My painting teacher tells me exactly the same thing about my paintings.
To: HairOfTheDog
I can always tell when someone is coming down the driveway: the kitty ducks for cover!
To: HairOfTheDog
I want to make sure I have time to put on mascara!LOL! You're such a nut.

How goes the writing, OT? I've gotten another 600 words today... I have to get my heroes out of jail, but I'm getting distracted by a discussion of object-oriented techniques for magic.

It's going slowly....can't seem to get into this stupid story.
To: Overtaxed
Hmm, well, I'd like to offer you encouragement. Maybe you should just change things - have a dragon materialize suddenly, or an attack of wolves, or something weird?

Maybe I should trash what I wrote at midnight and start over again.
To: Overtaxed
Do whatever you want.... I just brought in a random plot element and got them out of jail. Now it's time to give my hero a sword!

Tragedy! - Something BAD has happened in my fish tank. I fed everyone breakfast this morning, and all appeared fine.
Just looked in now, and the glass had shattered on the heater, leaving the heating elements exposed to the water. My large Bala shark and a couple Neons are dead. Apparently electrocuted?
To: HairOfTheDog
Oh no! Poor fish!
Not going to make any cruel jokes... tell g'nad to behave...

How goes the writing? I have got my characters out of one jail cell and into another; I am at 1600 words for today.
