we won't let you leave until you've been able to pet a manatee and see an alligator in the wild... what's the daily bag limit for manatees and gators?
To: Overtaxed
Ladies, and Gentlemen....start your ElfBash! Hey! I am still here ya know.

"I didn't know people could eat so well on a Coleman stove. ;^)"After Hurricane Andrew, when we were without electricity for three weeks, we cooked on a Coleman stove. To tell you the truth, I think it cooks alot better than the (relatively) expensive electric one we have in the kitchen.
When they were having hearings a few years back about establishing speed limits in manatee zones, the (former, I think) mayor of Fort Lauderdale showed his feelings on the subject by presenting at the hearing a recipe for manatee.
When I was a kid (long time ago) we called those things "sea cows."

Hey! I am still here ya know! Oops! Didn't know you drive the pace car when Hair leaves.
Guess that means the ElfBash is off

what's the daily bag limit for manatees and gators?Depends on how fast you are and if there's a Fish & Game officer nearby. ;^)

what's the daily bag limit for manatees and gators? I've heard that gator tastes like chicken. What does manatee taste like?

heh heh heh... I'm outta here!... hopefully I can get out and kill somethin'...the blood lust is kickin' in...
To: Overtaxed
I know I haven't been here for awhile, but I will still stick up for my fellow elves when I am here.
To: htur_75
I dunno...if I kill it, you can help me cook it... until the DNR boys show up...

I didn't even think of how useful a camp stove could be during a hurricane.
I may have to stip by Wal-Mart this week and price a stove, propane bottles, and a tent. We need a tent to sleep at least five people because my wife isn't to keen on the idea of putting the kids in one tent and me and her in a second "cozier" tent. ;^)

Great! We can do the whole "constipated elves" routine all over again.

I'll help you stick up for them, just give me a few minutes until we get this manatee killed and gutted...

Where's RWRF? He still fighting audit-orcs?Maybe they have taken him! We should probably start thinking about getting up a search party if we don't hear from him soon.
All we need to do is wait to see what sort of excuse the elves come up with to not join us in our attempt to rescue RWRF.

He must resort to the Southern verbal nuke that has laid low many a victim, the devastating "Bless her heart." An example: "She has lived among Yankees so long she couldn't make a decent deviled egg with her mama's recipe in one hand and Southern Living in the other, bless her heart."
I LOVED this story!! I pinged the Guild ladies to it, because it mentioned the term "Bless Her Heart" and deviled eggs!!
But in the 'name game', I would think 'Irksome Bowels' would have a disadvantage at the start! LOL!
To: Sam Cree
I had forgotten how much fun we have in here. It's been too long since I've freeped.

All we need to do is wait to see what sort of excuse the elves come up with to not join us in our attempt to rescue RWRF.The elves sit in their talans and their halls. They care nothing for the troubles of others.
