"Like a Hobiiit... drunk for the very first tiiiime. Like a Ho-o-o-o-biiiit... making pancakes....just in tiiiiime." Glad I have never heard whatever song you're talking about.

Please! MUST you keep perpetuating it???
To: RosieCotton
Perpetuating what? :)
To: RMDupree; RosieCotton
Sorry 'bout that...I don't know what came over me.
I think I need a "time out". LOL

Sorry 'bout that...I don't know what came over me. Just don't do it AGAIN! ;-)
The damage is already done for this time...that is LOOPING in my head now, complete with Madonna sounds...

Gosh, it's quiet today! Must be almost EVERYONE has the day off. :(

"I think it'd end up being too unrealistic or unoriginal, though. I mean...how many "ancient artifact turns out to be magic weapon/portal" stories does the world need?"
Well, I sort of like it as realistic, though it can have humor. After all, greatness can always be reduced to ordinary components.

I have an overactive imagination, I guess.Girl, what DO you eat before you go to bed?
I'm just rolling out myself; LATE night. When Sir SuziQ is gone, it's hard to get to sleep early. I started to watch the movie last night, but the sound was messed up on the DVD player; will have to check that out today. I decided to watch 'Con-Air' on the TV instead; action movies are a guilty pleasure for me! Then I watched a tear-jerker on the Family Channel, got the kids off to bed, and started reading 'Executive Orders'. I had finished 'Debt of Honor' earlier in the day.
Well, I gotta roll the kids out of bed and see what's on tap for today. I've given them the day off homeschool, so we might go out for a while.

I get to do "busy-work" for most of the day!
How lucky can a guy get?
To: RosieCotton
It certainly is quiet.
I refresh the page and nothing happens! LOL!

Hope you will check in fairly often, even if from home, like LCS does, when he's around. It's nice having you on the thread.
Sounds more like Saruman's people are messing with you than elves. Elves aren't much into social engineering as they don't even care much about the doings of mortals.
To: ItsOurTimeNow
Just a normal day here....
To: RMDupree
There's actually been more action on the dachshund thread than here. Of course, half of the action is me babbling on and on, but I haven't QUITE gotten a funkle, so I guess I'm safe...

Hullo! - Good morning!
I musta slept 12 hours! - I think it got to the point where it was hard to get up because I hadn't moved in so long... I was growing roots!
[sip]
But I am up now!
So we are having a bit of fun with Madonna this morning, Vim has been invaded by orcs (you'd think he could tell the difference between an elf and an orc!) Elves would hardly be interested in the book-keeping of dwarves. How boring!
To: HairOfTheDog
I cannot believe that we are approaching the Precious and there isn't a single dwarf in sight!!!
To: RMDupree
I guess I'll take it!!!!
To: SuziQ
Girl, what DO you eat before you go to bed?Nothing out of the ordinary, I assure you! I've always had weird (and vivid) dreams...dunno why. And a lot of the time I'm not "me" in my dreams.
To: RosieCotton
MINE!
To: HairOfTheDog
You can really tell there are no dwarves about.
To: RMDupree
Mine!
