Thanks for the tips, I'll try it out this weekend.

I might, too, IF I can find hickory chips this late in the season. My grill is out at Dad's, but I'll be out there this weekend anyway as two of my youngest siblings are out of town, leaving the VERY youngest home alone, and I have to go entertain her. I'm sure cooking a steak just for ME would be highly entertaining, no?

OK, MAYBE I'll share...but unlike the rest of us, she's NOT eager to try new things, so I'm probably safe...

but it's so nice to meet people who don't believe in ruining a perfectly good piece of meat by cooking it to a second death!

Well, sorry. But in spite of all the red/ripe meat off the bone talk, this dwarf likes his meat well done...

You know you figure that at least in Rivendell he coulda cleaned up a bit...

He did, remember? Put on those dopey velvet duds that make him look like he has no shoulders. I HATE that outfit...

It's supposed to rain here Saturday, so grilling's out. Maybe Sunday.

Thanks! Actually, about 25 minutes due south of Lebanon, right on the Connecticut River. We're renting for now, our church is in Claremont and we got a good deal on a nice house near where we're keeping our horses. We're going to take the next year to get to know the area and some of the other towns before we buy, so we might even end up closer to your neck of the woods.

It also made his butt look big.

Woo-hoo! An A - all right, 91% is still an A - on my test! And one of two As in the class!

Good morning all. Still have my database test tonight. That's at 6... if I'm not around by 8 or so it's probably 'cause I died of fright.

So, how are we this morning? And can I have one of those steaks? I didn't eat breakfast... and lunch is hours away. But I brought bratwurst!

You probably can't go too far wrong - that's a nice area! (And on the conservative side of the border...God knows I'm often tempted to jump the river...)
