Yeah, it won't work from the private folder. So you kind of have to be careful about what you have available in your accessible folders, eh?

That's my son at Split Rock Lighthouse on the North Shore of Lake Superior from our vacation this summer....btw...

Beautiful picture, RWRF. It took a little while to get, though.

If you have a night time version, it can be our nitelite.

You are confused, my friend.

Not for the first time. And certainly not for the last time, either. But thanks for calling me "friend". I'll zip it for a while on the smartypants comments....

I'm figuring out how to load pictures! Pretty scary, huh? Wanna see my medicine cabinet?

Just kidding! LOL!

Wow. I went over to that other thread. If I had been there I would have called abuse for the first time ever. It's nice to have someone like you around, g'nad. You know we appreciate what you do...

Thanks for the poster-size light-house!

I think it is really cool that you figured out how to use your webspace at roadrunner...

I have free space available too from my ISP... - Could I figure out how to use it? - NO! Then ecurbh gave me space on his server... Could I figure it out? - NO!

I am a special kind of idiot, it seems.

I would love to see what is in your medicine cabinet... But it is nothing without the captions!

"Sometime after we bought the shower curtain, ds and I went to visit my parents. They took us to a couple of aquariums. At one of them, I saw this bathmat and thought it would look good with the fish shower curtain. I convinced my parents to buy it for me. Between the shower and the toilet you see something offwhite. That is the garbage can. You can't see it but on top of the toilet is a box of tissues and an air freshener spray. The picture under this is of the blue thing in the bottom right of this picture."

Yeah, I think so too, this whole thing here is great...I'm still in the learning stage also...if you figure out an easy way to link, let me know.

I guess so... basically, don't put anything in your public folders that you wouldn't be comfortable having the whole world see.

Nice picture, by the way!

FYI...

If you find a big pic that you want to post but wish was smaller, you can resize how big any pic displays...

< IMG SRC="http://home.mn.rr.com/grcsac/Split%20Rock%20Lighthouse.jpg" height=100 width=100 >

The height and width measurements are in pixels I think... and I usually don't post anything bigger than 600x800 without resizing...

But, that doesn't change the size of the image file... just the size of the display. You still wind up downloading just as big a file....

I'm curious... what don't you understand from my explanation...?

We're getting a web page. I have to teach my sibs HTML, and then I'm responsible for maintenance and stuff, and I have to do a monthly family calendar. Could be fun, could be a real waste of time.

I don't have any trouble with WS-FTP.

JenB, I read To Say Nothing of the Dog, liked it alot, very light, made me enjoy the Victorian era, I already enjoy English culture. The kind of story that puts a smile on your face.

What a difference from The Doomsday Book, which was not light at all, though it affected me alot.
