I'm here, sort of. Then off to work again. (Work is killin' me).

But here's a nice tune. Cool! I could even play harmony on the C.
I'm learning Cat's Meow....or trying to. I listened to Joanie Madden's Cat's Meow and it was almost enough to make me give up! [sigh]

I know just what you mean! Have you heard any Mary Bergin? It's enough to make you want to give up right then and there.
I dont see how someone can have synapsis that fast.

Good morning everyone...
Last day on this job for me today. Have a staff meeting in 5 minutes, then most of the rest of the day will be spent cleaning up details before I leave. I don't know if I'll be busy or not....
Well, hope everyone has a good day!

Did you make any good pals at this latest job? Do you have another assignment lined up?

I know just what you mean! Have you heard any Mary Bergin? No I haven't.
I was listening to JM's Cat's Meow and at first I thought she was ornamenting. No...those were the written notes! At least I'm good enough for the Mayberry Band. LOL

Did you make any good pals at this latest job? Do you have another assignment lined up?Yes, actually, got along really well with all the people here. The company apparently had wanted to extend my contract, but unfortunately was unable to find the money to do so. Nothing new lined up yet to follow this one, so it looks like I'll have a few days at home before anything comes along. A few days I won't mind, actually looking forward to sleeping in tomorrow! :)

Hi, RWRF,
Our friend with trichinosis is still not good. She was moved to the University Hospital, which has the best med people, and they've decided it may not be trichinosis. I believe a bone marrow test has been done, maybe we'll have a result today?
Meanwhile she remains delirious, day after day, we are all very worried.
On a cheerier note, I talked to my daughter yesterday. She has a 1986 Saab that we bought her to use at school. Anyway, she told me that she had named it Elanor, after the tiny star shaped winter flowers that grow in Lothlorien.
I don't know if she knows Sam named his daughter that since she hasn't finished the book yet. But I was touched.

Hidy Ho All!
Back from the meeting. But I missed another meeting (which had lunch with it...) across town...
To: Corin Stormhands
Sounds like you missed elevenses, too.
To: Sam Cree
I did - danged long-winded orcses...
To: Corin Stormhands
So you just go to meetings for a living?
To: Overtaxed
Pretty much. Then I have to come back and tell them what they said...
To: Corin Stormhands
Ok so you go to meetings, come back, and have meetings to inform people about the other meetings. Sounds like fun.
To: Corin Stormhands
In fact, I have another sneak appointment just ahead...
To: Overtaxed
That's pretty much what I do...sneak
