Funny how the news on Chelsea is reminiscent of the news on the Bush twins.
Still, I'm skeptical of whether Chelsea really can be a more or less normal college kid, though one can hope.
Do you know, was Svetlana Stalin anything like a normal Russian kid, and then lady?

Well, the real believing liberal women I know... The feminists.... They just don't say anything.... The get this look of dread when I mention him. I think if they were ever really alone with him, they'd poke his eyes out.

get this look of dread when I mention himWell, they really ought to!
My painting and drawing professor, who is a feminist, loves Bill Clinton. It drives me crazy, as she is really great teacher, maybe the best I've ever studied with in any subject. Just listening to her talk about art is inspiring.
She also professes to be libertarian, I'm not sure how she reconciles that with the totalitarian properties of leftist thought.

Will check in later, I hope.

Hello Hobbitses! - Any hobbits awake and about?
I went out to the Prancing Pony tonight for a bit.... had some pints with the locals.
Home now... gotta go feed the ponies.

I'm here, being thoughtful and stuff.
Watched the season premier of the Sopranos on HBO, it was pretty good.
Otherwise, pretty quiet weekend.

Hi, I'm here. They're watching football very loudly- I guess the Steelers are putting on a good show. I want to go to bed, but with all the cheering...

Good evening!
For once, we're not actually watching football... Sunday night has too many good shows to watch! First, Sopranos, then Odyssey 5, now Jeremiah. Those last two are fairly good SF shows on Showtime.

I see.
[phew] It is muggy out.. it might rain. maybe not till tomorrow, but the dampness is coming! I think I am gonna watch the movie, the pints are making me sleepy. We should do a chat view sometime soon. Been awhile!

Had a cold front come through here last night, had some rain with it. Supposed to get cool tonight, might get down into the 60s! And only up into the 80s tomorrow... definite fall weather!

Yay! Fall! I love fall weather. There was a red-leafed tree I noticed the other day...

Well, I think it is gonna finally rain here this week! OK! - I tried to stay awake but I am asleep on my feet! See you all in the morning!
Here is a night light to see by, for the night wanderers!

Good night! Sleep well!

Love the fall colors here too. Unfortunately don't get much color down here in Texas... my Mom says the trees are starting to turn in Northern Michigan. Lots of color up there!

I'm having a bad day because someone who was my best friend a year ago got married last week and I found out via a mutual acquaintance. Sure, we haven't talked much lately but she could have emailed me...Ugh...that's rough, but I've been there. My best friend when I was in Germany (a guy, but we both knew we'd never be more than friends) got married about a year after I left and I didn't hear about it for SIX MONTHS or so! He was really good about keeping in touch and then dropped out of the picture for a long time, and when I tried to call him to see if his e-mail address or changed or something, a woman answered. I didn't leave a message or anything because I was flustered by it, and a few weeks later he wrote and told me he was married and how great everything was going. It wasn't really his fault, I guess, since he probably had a lot of other things on his mind, but it still hurt my feelings at the time.

No thoughts other than it sounds like fun. Just wondering if it had progressed any. We've been having a bit of a civil war with regards to North / South locations. Some of us LIKE snow in the winter!
OK, I'm about a quarter of the way caught up from Friday!

Cat is itchy scratchy? - So is Dog number 1. Mine have caught fleas, too...how do they DO that? All my cats are indoor types, and the dog doesn't exactly spend a lot of time out in the brush or anything, but they've got 'em. Spent some of the weekend bathing everyone and putting that one spot stuff on.
Tam is worrying me because he scratches himself RAW if he gets bitten by anything, and he has a sore on his neck now. Hopefully if the fleas go, that will heal up right away, but I'm still going to spend today hoping he's OK.
